  • John Spradling

    Co-Founder and Partner

    Mr. Spradling is a Co-Founder and Partner at Endurance Investment Partners (EIP), where he oversees EIP’s efforts in sourcing, executing and monitoring investments, as well as firm management and strategy.

    Previously, Mr. Spradling was a Managing Director at Tailwater Capital where he helped source, execute and monitor investments across energy and energy transition infrastructure. Prior to Tailwater, Mr. Spradling worked at NGP Energy Capital Management, where he executed upstream, midstream, shipping, oilfield services and energy technology investments. Mr. Spradling began his career at Barclays in the natural resources investment banking group, covering upstream, midstream and oilfield services sectors.

    Mr. Spradling received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College where he was a member of the football team.

  • Trey Hatcher

    Co-Founder and Partner

    Mr. Hatcher is a Co-Founder and Partner at Endurance Investment Partners (EIP), where he oversees EIP’s efforts in sourcing, executing and monitoring investments, as well as firm management and strategy.

    Previously, Mr. Hatcher was a Principal at Tailwater Capital where he helped source, execute and monitor investments across energy and energy transition infrastructure. Prior to Tailwater, Mr. Hatcher was a Vice President at LM Energy Partners, a private equity-backed midstream platform. Prior to LM, Mr. Hatcher worked at NGP Energy Capital Management, where he executed upstream, midstream, renewables and energy technology investments. Mr. Hatcher began his career at J.P. Morgan in the energy investment banking group, covering energy, power and utilities.

    Mr. Hatcher graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Washington and Lee University where he was a member of the tennis and track & field teams.

  • Braeden Barrett

    Senior Associate

    Mr. Barrett is a Senior Associate at Endurance Investment Partners (EIP), where he focuses on EIP’s efforts in due diligence and execution and monitoring investments.

    Previously, Mr. Barrett was an Associate at Quantum Capital Group where he executed and monitored upstream and midstream investments. Mr. Barrett began his career at Barclays in the natural resources investment banking group and was involved in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets financings and strategic advisory assignments for clients across the upstream, midstream and oilfield services sectors.

    Mr. Barrett holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Masters of Financial Management from Texas A&M University.

  • Richard Schnuerer

    Chief Financial Officer / Chief Compliance Officer

    Mr. Schnuerer is the CFO and CCO at Endurance Investment Partners (EIP), where he leads internal operations, financial reporting, compliance and human resources.

    Mr. Schnuerer is the Founder of Starrlight Advisory, which provides strategic financial, operational and compliance advisory services to alternative investment firms. Mr. Schnuerer has nearly two decades of alternative investments experience in leadership roles at GPs, LPs and professional services firms. He has served as CFO and CCO of GPs operating funds within buyout, growth, venture, credit, hedge and SBIC. He was an alternative investment due diligence professional in the Chief Investment Office at Merrill Lynch. Lastly, Mr. Schnuerer was part of Deloitte’s Investment Management practice.

    Mr. Schnuerer graduated from The Ohio State University where he double majored in Accounting and Finance and minored in Economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio and New York).

    Mr. Schnuerer is employed by Starrlight Advisory.

  • Barry Davis

    Senior Advisor

    Mr. Davis has 40+ years of experience founding, developing, managing, acquiring and selling midstream oil and gas assets, including executive leadership and advisory roles.

    Mr. Davis served as the Chief Executive Officer of EnLink Midstream from 2014 to 2022. Mr. Davis also served as Chairman of the Board from 2019 to 2022.

    Mr. Davis founded Crosstex Energy in 1996 and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In 2014, following a merger with Devon Energy Corporation’s midstream assets, Crosstex became EnLink, a leading midstream energy company that later sold to ONEOK (NYSE: OKE) in 2025.

    Prior to Crosstex, Mr. Davis held management roles with other energy companies beginning in 1984.

    Mr. Davis’ current board service includes: Chairman of the Board of Pattern Energy Group, LP; Director, Member of the Audit Committee, and Chair of the Compensation Committee of Kirby (NYSE: KEX); Director of Eiger Resources; and Board of Trustees at Texas Christian University (TCU).

    Mr. Davis’ prior board service includes: Chairman of the Board of EnLink Midstream (NYSE: ENLC)1.

  • James Lytal

    Senior Advisor

    Mr. Lytal has 40+ years of experience developing, managing, acquiring and selling midstream oil and gas assets, including executive leadership and advisory roles. He was previously Advisor for Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) from 2009 to 2021.

    Mr. Lytal was Executive Vice President at Enterprise Products Partners from 2004 to 2009, President of Leviathan Gas Pipeline Partners, which later became El Paso Energy Partners, and then Gulfterra Energy Partners, from 1994 to 2004, and held various commercial, engineering and business development positions with companies engaged in oil and gas exploration and production and gas pipeline services from 1980 to 1994.

    Mr. Lytal’s current board service includes: Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee and member of the Government and Sustainability Committee of Archrock; Director of ColdStream Energy; Director of Trinity Gas Storage; Advisor to Insight M.

    Mr. Lytal’s prior board service includes: Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Rice Acquisition Corp. II from 2021 to 2023; Director and member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Conflicts Committee of Rice Midstream Management LLC, the managing general partner of Rice Midstream Partners, L.P. from 2015 until it was acquired in 2018; Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee and Member of the Audit Committee of SemGroup Corporation from 2011 until it was acquired in 2019; Director of Gulfterra Energy Partners from 1994 to 2004.

    Mr. Weber has 40+ years of experience in advising, financing, and acquiring energy assets, including executive leadership and advisory roles within the energy industry.

    Since 2022, Mr. Weber serves as Managing Partner of Dais Partners, a Dallas-based multi-family investment firm.

    Prior to Dais Partners, Mr. Weber served as Managing Partner of NGP Energy Capital Management (NGP), a >$25 billion family of private equity funds that makes direct energy investments in energy companies.

    Prior to NGP, Mr. Weber served as Chief Financial Officer of Merit Energy Company, a multi-billion private energy company where he was responsible for raising more than $2 billion of equity commitments from institutional investors and overseeing all the accounting, treasury, finance and capital markets activities of the company.

    Mr. Weber began his career as an energy banker, where he spent 15 years financing acquisitions, merges and other transactions in the upstream and midstream throughout the United States and Canada.

    Mr. Weber’s current board service includes: Board of Directors of Texas A&M University’s Association of Former Students and Board of Advisors of Permanent University Fund’s (PUF) University Lands.

  • Scott Gieselman

    Mr. Gieselman has 40+ years of experience in advising, financing, and acquiring energy assets, including executive leadership and advisory roles within the energy industry.

    Mr. Gieselman served as Partner for NGP Energy Capital Management (NGP) until 2023, a position he had held since April 2007. Mr. Gieselman served as a director of certain private and public NGP portfolio companies.

    Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Gieselman served in various positions in the investment banking energy group of Goldman Sachs & Co LLC, where he became a partner in 2022.

    Mr. Gieselman’s current board service includes: Board of Directors of Infinity Natural Resources (NYSE: INR) and serves as the Committee Chair of the Audit Committee and as a Member of the Compensation Committee.
